Angels and Demons (Dan Brown) ***

Traditional Dan Brown, and a great suspenseful read.  This is the book that originally introduced Robert Langdon, and he’s as fun in this story as in The Davinci Code. Angels and Demons is a page-turner and a quick read. (I picked it up with barely a week before the movie’s premier and easily finished it.)  And although told in incredible detail, the story moves quickly, all occurring in about twenty-four hours.  Brown’s research (he had a sitting with the Pope while writing the story) shines throughout the book, which makes the part of me that wants to learn something happy too.
