After the Music Stopped: The Financial Crisis, the Response, and the Work Ahead (Alan. S. Binder) ****

Okay, so I’m not surprised with myself, but yes, at least for now, I’m admitting I’ve abandoned the book. I read about a quarter of it, and indeed, it was fabulously written in a wonderfully approachable, understandable way. I learned a lot as I read. And maybe that was it: I learn a lot every day through work, and when I read “away from work,” sometimes I merely want to sit back. As educational and informative as this book is, there is no “sitting back.”
But it is excellently done. So do read it if you’d like to know more about how we got where we are. It is interesting. It is informative. It is a “good read.”
