Reflective Media Reviews

Sicario ***

I saw this film well over a week ago (Two weeks ago?), and since then, when asked if I’d seen any movies, more often than not, I haven’t been able to recall this film or its name.  So I suppose I can say that Sicario is forgettable.

That said, it did entertain me.  Now, my movie companion did not buy Emily Blunt’s character.  I did more than he; after all, I can appreciate the gullible desire to want to believe what’s good in the world.  Still, at times, the film indeed got muddled and jumbled, leaving too many things unbelieavably unanswered not only for the viewers but also the character.

It wasn’t particularly bad.  And it provided that escape for a couple of hours.  But it also won’t stay with you much past the appetizer course that begins the dinner following the film.

Staying thoughtful?
